Hannah Marie Reierson
Hannah Marie was born on June, 17th, 2008 at 7:31 pm @ Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. She weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz. and was 20 3/4" long. We will post pictures as soon as we can. As of now Mom and Baby are doing great, Hannah even got some sleep her first night (Mom and Dad too)!
We wanted to also say thank you to everyone who sent well wishes and "Good Luck" before, during and after the labor.
Love,
Mike and Steph

We were bound and determined to get a picture of Alexis smiling! I think we did pretty good! Uncle Mike is apparently a pretty funny guy.
We spent Mother's Day weekend with Amanda and Alexis, practicing our parenting skills. Alexis helped us test out some of our new toys, and helped us realize the accoustic potential of our vaulted living room ceiling! Mike loves this picture, because he says she looks like one tough chick! (She already knows Kung Fu!)
Here is a side picture for all of you who have been waiting for a belly-bump update. This is at Beth-a-Palooza, a going away party for Beth's Peace Corps trip to Madagascar.
Daddy paints the nursery purple! ...it's perfect!!!Wednesday, April 23, 2008
The Joy of Learning!
This past weekend Steph and I spent our time (literally, all of it) learning about the intricacies of birth and post partum care for our soon to be bundle of joy. You can't believe all of the information they try and cram into a single weekend. Overall I think we came out of class with a better understanding of what to expect if not a whole lot more fear of what Steph is about go through along with what will be my inability to help in any way. The best part of being done with this class is knowing we are one step closer to holding our little girl in our arms. We are less than 8 weeks away from posts actually worth reading!! Stay tuned.
