Announcing Alexis Catherine

Mike and I are excited to announce the arrival of our new niece:
Alexis Catherine Swintek.

She was born on March 25 at 4:23 pm. She weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz.

Alexis and Amanda and Dan are all doing well, even after 16 hours of labor!
Mike and I, along with the rest of the Frame clan, are overjoyed at the idea of soon having 2 little girls that will surely be best friends!

A Princess's Castle

Steph and I spent a good portion of this weekend readying ourselves and the nursery for the soon approaching arrival of our little princess. Already being the gushing dad who assumes his daughter can do no wrong, I went a little bit overboard. Luckily, Steph was there to stop me from buying everything we saw in pink. I did, however, win out on a few things. Steph has a long road of discipline ahead of her becaue I obviously will not be able to do it. Here is a peek into Baby Gretz's soon to be surroundings (the room has yet to be arranged, but we couldn't help organize the closet and construct the crib).

Weekend Fishing Excursions

A few friends and I ventured way up north to Lake of the Woods for some ice fishing. The fishing wasn't great but we managed to catch a few small ones and one larger fish and had a great time as well.
